Spidey 3 letdown

Went to watch Spiderman 3 @ Cineleisure even though i was not feeling too well, last minute invitation by my bud Jamie, we gambled with hope of getting tix for the 1.30 am show, when we reached there it was sold out, but the person at the counter told us to wait for the uncollected bookings to be released, Jedi luck was on our side and we managed to get the tix, overall the movie was ok lah visual wise, but it had a very very weak storyline :( kinda regretting the rm35 i paid for the charity screening.....warghhhh! managed to snap some pix while waiting for the movie to start.

That was the motto of the night, Just came back from a fun 3 1/2 hour session with the so called CS clan! Me, m0j0 & Din won all of our games :D oh and Man United won their game too, we are just inches away from winning the title this year :D Glory! Glory!

SWM night!

Ahhh what an awesome Saturday night........first it was feasting at Seoul, Korean BBQ, with the usual makan suspects :P then it was off to a long session of Star Wars mini's, the game took 5 hours to complete, it ended at 6a.m :P at least my team won! the Dark side prevailed :D been nearly a year since we stopped playing SWM, a bit rusty with the rules, but at least we are back!

Just finished watching the game between Man United -VS- As Roma, and it was a night to remember! United opened up a can of whoop ass on Roma, they got trashed big time & the final score was 7-1. I cried tears of joy every time United scored :D one of United's best game ever!!

Puma Suede VS Nike SB Durphy's

Didn't pick up any Nike SB, but picked up the ever classic Puma, The Suede! This can be considered a re-pickup, cause this was the first pair of kicks that i bought, i still have the old pair somewhere in the store room, need to look hard for it, i wanna compare the suede from 1994 to the suede of 2006. One of the most notable difference is the quality of suede that is used, it is much more thicker.

The suede was re-issued back in 2006, and i was hesitant to get them back then, main reason is because of the price increase, back in 1994 the suede cost RM139, but when it was re-issued the price was a whopping RM239!! not cheap! so the reason i decided to get them is because they were on sale :D and i know if i don't get them now they will be gone from the shelves pretty soon :( the pair i picked up were the last pair of my size :P go figure!!!

A tribute to the greatest musician i have ever come across in my entire life :P(as if i have lived long enough!...haha) Kurt Donald Cobain!!!! Front man of the greatest band ever!! Nirvana!!!

Today was the date he took his own life with a blow to the head with his shotgun, well that was 13 years ago......i was in form 3 back then, i just couldnt believe the news when i heard that Kurt had taken his own life.... Me & my grunge loving friends mourned for him.......it was a very sad day for us in school. Well rest in peace Kurt.......you will always be remembered.

Picked up the Dan Murphy(Durphy) Classics after much thought, just so glad that i picked it up(last pair of my size :P ) Dan Murphy is a Nike SB amateur team member, the Durphy classic is a tribute to Dan's dog Indy who follows Dan whenever he skates.

What i love about SB's is that the SB reps and skaters put a lot of thought into the shoe design & material they use, that is what makes SB's stand out, SB is one of the hottest shoe line in the market at the moment. Still bummed out that i can't seem to find a pair of Jeremy Fish classic in my size....arghh!

March Pickup

Copped a pair of Mission SF.CA Blazers(team manager series), managed to track down this bad boy thru a fellow sneakerhead, SB blazers are a rare breed, & the Missions were released way back in 2005. this is my first pink box SB's yay! Pink boxes are hard to come by :) also my first ever Mid Top's. Im really feeling the orange :P

I Love my New Shoes!!! :)

Woke up cold one tuesday,
i'm looking tired and feeling quite sick,
i felt like there was something missing in my day to day life,

pulled out some jeans and a T-Shirt that seemed clean,
topped it off with a pair of old shoes,
that were ripped around the seams,
and i thought these shoes just don't suit me.
